White-Tailed Eagle at Loch Na Keal on the Isle of Mull.

This bird circled the boat waiting for the skipper to throw a herring into the water.

Awesome is the only description I could think of, then and now!

A gull attracted by bread thrown into the water, to entice a White Tailed Eagle to pick up a fish for the camera's on the boat!

An Isle of Mull Otter, who when asked, got out of the water, rolled onto the sea weed and did several 'star' posing shots for me. I managed about five hundred shots before she got bored and went on her way.

Common Tern trying to look like a Viking Helmet

There was no competition, all the Heron needed to do was look at the Egrets and they would move away.

Just waiting for lunch to swim by.

A hunting bird who's presence and unblinking eye made me glad that I was bigger than him!

Daisy & Holly posing for the Christmas card. However, this final picture took ten Doggy Sausages chopped up into small bits plus me making 'strange' sounds that they don't normally hear.

That's why their heads are on the side in a quizzical pose!

Out walking with the dogs we went past these trees. It just called out 'a moment to be captured' so I did!

After hauling my new 600mm lens around Dungeness RSPB site I collapsed into the Denge Hide and caught this cheeky Chiff Chaff sticking its head out of the scrub to the side of the hide.

On the Dungeness RSPB site I was walking back to the car when this Wheatear popped up and posed while I rattled off a few frames. Obviously want to get onto a calendar!

This waterfall has no name shown on the map so I have given them one. I have seen them in full flood and almost dried up. Must be fairy magic!

This is me playing with a 10 stop ND filter and a PC lens while at the same time being attacked by the Scottish Highland Kamikaze Air Force and Some idiot was taking a picture of me taking this picture. I suppose I did look a twit in my Midge Net, Who cares? The little devils did not get me that time!

Every day when the tide went out there seemed to be miles of sandy beach on which to run with the dog.

I have just taken delivery of a super 600mm lens and this was my first 'real' outing with it. I wanted to try photographing some Treecreepers I had seen at a local nature reserve. So I sat and waited and sure enough one came along. Not the best pictures I have seen but not bad for a first try with a new lens. This is one of two that I feel are worth putting on the web site.

This Little Owl put in an appearance while I was waiting for a Barn Owl that never showed. I don't know who was more surprised to see the other, me or the owl!

This particular photograph appeals to me as it shows humans trying to do what the Oyster Catchers do. A case of amateurs and consummate professionals!
